Didn't get a chance to post this on Monday.
Struggled with Zachary today. Yesterday I sat right next to him to do his 4 sentences using 4 of his spelling words. It took him FOREVER to come up with his sentences, and he kept getting frustrated because I kept correcting him on his handwriting. Today I let him just do it all on his own. He came up with his sentences fairly easily, but he forgot to space between his words. So I made him do them over. Again he didn't space...so again, he did them over. By the end, he wrote these sentences at least 5 times before spacing between the words all the way thru. It was tough, but we got thru it!

We used a "space buddy" when we had problems with spacing. We got a Popsicle stick and drew an astronaut on it. It's the right width for between words. :D (Get it? "Space" buddy!)
